Wells Fargo (Banking Type)

Here is Wells Fargo, banking logo. When I see this typeface. I see value, tradition, and wealth. It sticks out because of the blood red and the golden yellow.

The name of this typeface is called, Myriad. Two designers from Adobe Systems created this typeface and was issued in the early 90's. This typeface is also used by Wal-Mart and Modern Telegraph. Information on Myriad

This image is great. Do you think the kerning helps with readability? It makes it hard to read the letters so you kind of have to guess it what it says which lends itself well to the purpose.

That is an interesting perspective. I think if we saw this on a building or brochure, it might look different to us compare to viewing on a computer screen. But, I guess the yellow lettering on the red background messes with our eyes.
